As Jesus is teaching in the Synagogue, a person who is possessed by a demon enters into their midst. Interestingly, the demon yells at Jesus out of fear and tries to tell the people who Jesus truly is. However, Jesus shuts the mouth of the demon and casts him out! Why didn’t Jesus want people to know who He was, and what does this show about Jesus’ authority?
