The “riches” of this world empty us spiritually. What we invest in ourselves could be spent investing in others and in Christ’s Kingdom. Jesus paid the price for our spiritual poverty on the cross. We have been made rich by His gifts of love and forgiveness. He now invites us to make others eternally rich in His love.
