FEAST ON THE WORD

Passage: John 6:51-69

In our Gospel reading, we see Jesus using very visual and graphic language about His flesh and blood, which caused people to have a hard time accepting His teaching. Jesus gets straight to the point; the true bread that gives eternal life is His flesh and His blood! Jesus does not water down the fact that His coming sacrifice on the cross would save His people!
