Q: Where do you meet and how do I get to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church & School?

A: We are located at 9201 E. County Road 100 N. in Avon on the west side of Indianapolis. Go here for directions.

Q: When are your church services and Bible classes?

A: We have church services on Wednesday night, Saturday night and Sunday mornings.

Q: What can I expect from a typical Traditional service?

A: A Traditional service has:

  • Lutheran liturgy with a meditative, reverent atmosphere
  • Challenging, but clear sermons that apply God's word to your life
  • Singing praise to God in beautiful, organ-accompanied hymns

Q. What can I expect from a typical Contemporary Service?

 A. A Contemporary service has:

  • A live band/group with contemporary music
  • Challenging, but clear sermons that apply God's word to your life
  • A structured flow to the service using screens/media to aid in following and learning

Q. What is the best way for me to connect?

A. The best ways to connect are:

  • Visit with others in our commons area on Sundays, where you can find coffee, juice, milk and donuts 
  • Check out an Adult Studies class at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays
  • Join a small group Bible study
  • Serving opportunities will introduce you to new people and helps to give you the sense that you're a part of the community
