May 14, 2017 — The Fifth Sunday of Easter
THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE
Some falsely assert that Christianity is an exclusive religion. They quote passages like this from John 14 to support their view. What they fail to realize is that Jesus became human to love all people, free all people and bless all people. His life of sacrifice proved He loves all, even those opposed to Him. Sometimes His love is “tough love” because Christ only ever tells the truth. Even then, He is open to all and invites all to receive Him by faith.
MOTHER’S DAY ~ Being a mother is more than a biological act; it includes caring, nurturing, loving, encouraging, supporting, and being present for whenever life happens.
