Sheila
Brauer
Third Grade
Teacher
 Mrs.
Brauer was a lab technician for almost ten years before
returning to school in order to become an elementary school
teacher. She received her B.S. in elementary education in
December 1992 from IUPUI and became a commissioned teacher
though the colloquy program at Concordia University at River
Forest, IL. She has taught at Our Shepherd for 11 years in
grades 1-4, and is currently teaching grade 3.
Mrs. Brauer
and her husband Eric reside in Avon and have three children:
Andrea, married to Pastor Chad Hoover in Traverse City, MI.,
Lauren, who is married to Kevin Creutz and both teach at Zion
Lutheran School in St. Charles, Mo., and Matt, who attends
Concordia University, River Forest as a Lutheran Secondary Ed.
English major and is a member of the Wind Symphony. Mrs. & Mrs.
Brauer have 2 grandchildren.
