Judy
Woolsey
Preschool
Teacher
 Mrs.
Woolsey currently teaches preschool and pre-kindergarten at Our
Shepherd. She graduated from St. Paul’s College, Concordia, MO
in 1960. She taught second grade at Trinity, Evansville, IN for
two years and at Grace, Indianapolis she taught kindergarten for
6 years, she continued her education during the summers and took
some evening classes at Concordia, River Forest and Butler
University. She then took a sabbatical to raise her three sons:
Jonathan, who is a carpenter journeyman, David, who is pastor in
Iowa, and Adam, who is an engineer. During that time, she
assisted in the start of the preschool at Our Shepherd and also
substituted for and assisted the teacher. When the teacher left
for another position in 1990, Mrs. Woolsey became the full time
teacher in the preschool and pre-kindergarten.
She is married
and resides in Danville. She is the grandmother of four children
and the stepmother grandmother of 3 children.
